About Us

Our Team

Fireguard Ltd was the vision of our Managing Director Martin Wall (GIFireE, MIFSM, MIFPO) and was established in 2005. The business quickly grew and with the acquisitions of both South Anston Fire Extinguishers and West Yorkshire Fire & Security, became The Firehouse Group. We offer Fire Safety solutions to customers nationwide with offices in Barnsley, Gateshead, Durham, Leeds, Wakefield & Nottingham.

The business is now run by Martin Wall and Chris Wall. We are very proud to hold BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) accreditation, a prestigious mark of quality and reliability in the fire safety industry.

Our engineers

Our Engineers carry either BAFE (Fire Extinguishers) or EAL Level 3 Award (Fire Alarms) certification to ensure our customers are compliant and are all DBS Enhance checked. This, along with our knowledgeable office staff, allows us to ensure our customers legal fire safety responsibilities are met.

In 2019 we were looking for new local company to service and maintain our fire alarm systems. We previously used a national company. Having spoken the Chris at Fire House Group we engaged them to service and maintain our fire systems. Fire House Group and their staff as a whole have been fantastic from the top down.
They have met and exceeded our expectations at every turn. They are small enough to care but large enough to cope with whatever we have asked of them nothing is too much trouble.
